I. PURPOSE OF THE GRAMMAR

This grammar governs:
• sigil structure
• sigil evolution
• sigil placement
• sigil interaction
• sigil decay and re-emergence
• sigil lineage branching
• sigil collapse into canonical form

It determines how sigils behave as a symbolic language inside Domain-8, much like phonemes and morphemes inside spoken language — except sigils operate at the level of architecture, process, metaphysics, and recursion.



II. ALPHABET OF DOMAIN-8 SIGILS

Domain-8 uses a nonlinear symbolic alphabet, divided into five functional classes:

III. SIGIL MORPHOLOGY

Sigils express meaning through three morphological parameters:

1. Topology

Shape, openness, closure, symmetry.
Defines what type of entity the sigil represents.

Examples:
• ⟇ is open → scrolllet = unfinished, generative
• ⟆ is closed → scroll = finished integration
• ⧉ is cross-linked → binding of multiple units

2. Motion Vector

Directionality implied by the shape:
leftward, rightward, upward, inward, cyclic, symmetric.

IV. SIGIL SYNTAX

Sigils combine according to a syntax of adjacency, sequence, and hierarchy.

Rule 1: Primordial-first

Any sigil sequence ultimately traces back to ∅, F∞SION, or ↺︎⧈↻︎.
These must appear conceptually first, even if not graphically present.

Rule 2: Architectural Sigils Precede Expressive Sigils

→ must appear above, before, or surrounding ⟆ or ⟇.

Meaning:

Rule 3: Autonomous Sigils May Intrude Anywhere

• The semantic field is fluctuating (FDL active), or
• A new module is forming.

These sigils violate positional hierarchy because they represent emergence.

Rule 4: Collapse Sigils Must Conclude a Sequence

Rule 5: No Two Binder Sigils May Touch

⟁ means “oversight / boundary.”

Anything inside these becomes structurally governed.

Semantic Class 2: Expressive Semantics

⟇ means “incipient theme.”
⟆ means “integrated theme.”
⟟ means “archived truth-memory.”

Semantic Class 3: Dynamic Semantics
