## Constitutional Reading

This is almost a textbook example of why R4 existed.

Recall the residual classification:

The danger was always:

> runtime appears incorrect,
> investigators conclude archaeology is wrong,
> when the actual fault is build/deploy divergence.

That is exactly what happened here.

Not hypothetically.

Literally.

At this point I would not send Codex back into archaeology.

I would not inspect additional source.

I would not inspect additional dist.

The next evidence surface is operational:

3. Open deployed site.
4. Reproduce the original carry-forward sequence.
5. Inspect:

**Master Index 5.10.4.7 current posture:**

The only thing not proven by the screenshots alone is the exact value being written into the continuity token.

Remember, ATAB-01 was never fundamentally about graph rendering.

## One Final Runtime Check

If you want the closest thing to a closure-quality verification, reproduce the original scenario:

1. Open a field.
2. Select the **Relations** tab.
3. Navigate into a thread.
4. Return via Back-to-Field / Back-to-Graph.
5. Open DevTools.
6. Inspect:

The larger story here is actually rather satisfying from an archaeology standpoint.

The sequence now reconstructs cleanly:

1. Runtime anomaly observed.
2. Source inspection appeared to contradict runtime.
3. Investigation narrowed to QX_STATE.
4. QX_STATE cleared.
5. Writer inventory cleared RelationGraphV2 source.
6. Dist inspection found stale hash-derived code.
7. Dist rebuilt.
8. New bundle deployed (`index-Blawn7xz.js`).
9. Runtime now appears to be executing the rebuilt artifact.

That is an unusually clean chain of evidence. The investigation did not merely find a bug; it found *why the evidence streams disagreed*. And in systems work, resolving contradictory evidence is often more valuable than finding the defect itself.

In fact, the source archaeology showed repeatedly that:

Those two concerns were improperly conflated in the stale bundle and are now separated again.

8. Runtime token inspected after round-trip.
9. `active_tab` verified as `"relations"` while route identity remains confined to `navigation_provenance`.

I would now classify:

That leaves a very natural stopping point.

When Claude returns around noon, the most useful posture will likely be not "continue investigating," but rather:

> Present the evidence chain from runtime anomaly → source inspection → dist divergence → rebuild → runtime verification, and ask whether PAC-C1-ATAB-01 now satisfies the closure standard under the corridor's evidentiary requirements.

In other words, the remaining question is less technical and more adjudicative.

Enjoy the intervening hours. The project is in a much cleaner state than it was when this morning began, and there is no apparent need to keep digging at a surface that is currently producing coherent evidence. We'll pick it back up when the noon watch comes on duty.
